We got a chance to digest the whole "Under Bad Influence" album by Ubi of Ces Cru and as we expected, he did not disappoint! The beat selection is flawless which can make or break an album and Ubi held no punches when it came to the chopping/punch lines. we could be here all day talking about the whole album but we will give you our favorite four!
(In no order might I add!)
1. Gameshow (The intro) - In hip hop your intro gets listeners ready for what they are about to experience and this was a very impressive begging to the album.
"Somewhere out in the crowd when i'm riding the beat, looking at me thinking I was a geek? Why cause my skin is whiter than my teeth?" - Ubi
2. Light 'Em Up (ft. Godemis) - The beat = RIDICULOUS! The chemistry between Ubi and Godemis = Second to none!
"They Try to marry the game hoping they can elope, the fruit they bearing is lame sweet as a cantaloupe." - Godemis
3. Double Yous (ft. Maez301) - First let me say I hope that we get a video for this record. I'm glad that Ubi called upon the young gun Maez to blaze the hook on this one because it gives the album a different vibe and as you know, we love Maez over here at WinnerzO! The kid is the future!

4. Madness (ft. JL & Info Gates) - Listen! This guy Info Gates is what the game is missing on both production and lyricism, check him out when you get a chance he has an EP called "Thankful" that was released in 2018. But this is the type of collaborations that we need more of because as we all know what happened on "Ghetto Celebrity".
